Some Success Stories
Axel
Axel (formerly Michael Scott) was found as a stray and brought into Garland Animal Shelter. The founder left him on a stray hold and when no one came to claim him, the founder came to get him. He was on the urgent list and set for euthanasia because of his behavior. Axel is unpredictable at times and needs some training. The owners dumped Axel on a fellow volunteer.
Yhorm
We could not be more thankful for Meg and Funding For Fido. We adopted our fur baby, Yhorm, from Garland Animal Services, which unfortunately is a high kill shelter. When we found he had heart worms, we weren’t sure of the first steps to take or even if we had the funds to irradiate this issue.
